Poor communication is the root cause of most negative business outcomes. It disrupts process, damages relationships, and derails day-to-day work. The cost to organizations is millions lost in inefficiencies, missed profits, and failed initiatives, and leaves behind a trail of lost employees and clients. AI alone won’t solve this. The solution requires something deeper: real-world experience, relentless commitment, and a human-first approach.

That’s why we launched Black Diamond in 2021, targeting Fortune 500 companies that needed our help. And now we’re expanding our horizons to the rest of the DevSecOps world.

Our team brings deep, practical expertise, especially in GitLab and the surrounding ecosystem, and prioritizes education and dialogue before action. We don’t just advise; we inform, confer, and then execute. From designing secure deployment pipelines to managing enterprise-scale migrations with Fortune-500 clients, we’ve been in the trenches. We’re the people others call when the situation is too messy, too technical, or too far gone.

We are pioneers. Not in the buzzword sense, but in the grit-and-gravel reality of building things that last. We’ve lived the daily pressures of scaling secure infrastructure, rolling out CI/CD pipelines, and wrangling complex migrations, not in theory, but in practice. We’ve stood in war rooms, taught the classes, led the hands-on labs, and fixed the production systems when others walked away, or never showed up in the first place.

We are not afraid of adversity. Rather, we welcome it: Where others see uphill battles, we see opportunity. We know that transforming developer culture, modernizing security practices, and migrating critical systems isn’t for the faint of heart. It takes a team that knows how to communicate, lead through friction, break down barriers, and move things forward, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard.

We also believe in doing good. Yes, we’re in business to make money, but we do so by creating value, not wringing it from others. This space has become overrun with overpriced consulting, YouTube tutorials masquerading as training, unnecessary licenses, and inaccessible expertise. We're here to change that. We’re especially focused on empowering teams to deeply understand GitLab and similar platforms. Training, mentorship, and active support are core to who we are, and we are excited to bring our proven, successful program out from elite boardrooms and into the public sphere.

We’re not just launching a company, we are building a movement. One focused on honesty, competence, and doing the right thing. Our roadmap includes community-driven training, automation tools born from real needs, and a commitment to helping every DevSecOps team get better—not just bigger.

We’ll be sharing more about what’s next soon. But for now, just know this: if you’re facing complexity, friction, or just a sense that “there has to be a better way”, please know that you’re not alone. We’re here, we’ve got your back, and we’re just getting started.

So get in touch, see what we’re talking about for yourself, and let's change your day-to-day into never-before-seen.
